Auto Iris in 25p on a DVX100AE

Hi!
I have a 100A 'E' (which stands for PAL). When shooting on 25p I've noticed that the Auto Iris constantly sets itself two f/stops darker that what I'd set it in manual mode. I'm not quite sure if my eyes are right or if the machine is right.
Do you have an idea guys? (I think that even the NTSC version has cerresponding settings)

You should use the zebra function, and if possible a real monitor to determine if the exposure is correct.

Regarding the automatic iris:
You can specify how you want the auto-iris to expose in different scene files.

You find the settings under:
1.SCENE FILE - A.IRIS LEVEL

Change this setting to whatever is good for you.
+ = lighter
- = darker

And further to what Johan said above : don't forget to save your scene file settings, otherwise they will return to default values when you power off the cam.

Merci Monglane!

this is exactly what I did: changing the default iris from -2 to -1 for the 25p mode... and forgetting to save it!
Now it's ok.
