Auto 1/24 Still Frame Insertion?

Hey - trying to finish up this animation, ran into a little snaffoo... snaffu... snaffuw..

Whatever - I ran into a snag, see when I import tons of these still frames, it automatically gives each one 10 seconds of time, I would rather have it so that each one only took up a frame....

I remember reading something about being able to set it up a certain way to only allow 1 frame per picture or something, but a search yielded nothing but a kick to the groin and a laugh from a young homeless man named DJ.

monte, take a look at options->preferences editing tab
"new still image length"

Also: if these images are a sequence, and it sounds like they are, go to File | Import | Media , select the first image in the sequence, check the little box at the bottom of the dialog, and away you go. Vegas will bring the whole thing in as a video clip and put in your Project Media.

Just be sure the images are named sequentially: "blahblah001.png, blah bla002.png, etc)
