Adwar Video is an authorized repair center... they're in Plainview (www.adwarvideo.com), but the guys there don't seem to know their **** as much as I'd like. He tried to tell me that there are no bigger batteries than a 2600mAh for the DVX. Also... I thought my DVX was having problems but it really wasn't.. but when I called Adwar, they told me that I have to replace the pinch rollers cuz they're busted... after he told me that, I posted that on this board and someone told me that that's rediculous. I think PanasonicNZ even said that the pinch roller aren't the problem. So i'd be careful with those guys.
I'm sure B&H is authorized. There's also another place further east but I forget the name.
So where on LI are you from? What do you shoot? Shorts, features, etc?

I guess I'll go to B&H.. the problem with my camera is that the lens seems to have some sort of defect on the inside. It doesn't show up on any footage but when I sell this camera at the end of the year I want it to be right for the next person that gets it. It is still under warranty thats why I want to get it done before it runs out.

I'm trying to do the corporate thing... with lots of after effects in post.
 
I used Video Tech in Tallahassee, FL. Authorized Panasonic Techs. And, they do WARRANTY work. They do FAST work. TURN AROUND TIME is 5-10 DAYS.
