Audix HCX1 -- I've read a few scattered posts about this mic and watched some of the comparison vids online. Most people seem to really like it. Anyone out there use this mic regularly? I'd be using it mostly for indoor dialogue in short film and documentary work. It's a little cheaper than the Audio-Technica 4053B, which I'm also considering. While we're on the topic, I have a general question about when and when not to use a hyper. I've been using lavs for most of my indoor dialogue work lately, but I occasioanally use my NTG-3 when there aren't many hard surfaces in the room. It's treated me pretty well in those situations. My question about hypers is, when should you *not* use hypers indoors? Or is there one? My guess is that if you're also trying to get some type of ambient sound indoors. In these situations, would a regular cardio be in order? Thanks in advance.
