I'm about to start letting people know we are going to be doing open casting calls in December. I want to give people time to get their "act" together, before the big day. I'd like to see how many people will submit info as well online. I want tp provide them with character breakdowns so they can know what parts we are casting for, and to weed out people who have no business auditioning.

How detailed do the breakdowns need to be?

As detailed as possible, the more information you can give an actor the better choices they will be able to make. Though you will still get people who are completely wrong for the various parts submitting.
