audio wireless

it is in every day use for theatrical release , the sound is a compromise as anything else - you could do it better with wired mic , but since then you cant get the image you sacrifice the part of it ,
there are some models which bring you quit good signal

you need example - the Titanic , all the mics where wireless for dialog recording ( Mark Ulano - sound mixer)

thx again.. but i'd like to have some gear examples, too.. if possible, sure..

btw, also for 24/48 or even 24/96?..

edit
about music recording, isn't it usual on stage.. to perform with those devices?

yes, but not for recording , espacilly bass( low fq )
the bit rate and sampling rate you record have nothing with the quality of the transmitter /receiver .
now if you need good systems - it will cost you something between 2500-4000 per channel
depends on the system , some have multiple receivers which cut the cost down
lectrosonics 400-2500
audio ltd 2040 - 4000
zaxcom digital about 3700-4000
sennheiser about the same
that befor cables , microphones , phantom supplies , external antennas and all the necessarily or unnecessarily stuff

but to dialogues (film-out), is it okay?

hey exile, can you suggest the most affordable to this use?

only simple transmitter/receiver to a couple metters (sorry i know that your brit measures are different) like subject -> camera + microphone and.. anything else?

edit
off-topic: i was.. i'm a George Best's fan too

used audio ltd 2000 non diversity - around 800-900 bucks
good as lavaliere or as boom transmitting
anything else - go to see real shooting for cinema release :-)
