I have never had a real problem with vegas until now, and even this one has a simple workaround, but still would like to know what I am doing wrong. So, on my recent 4th of july extravaganza (you can see it in the screen grabs section) I made a single audio track for an effect that I was using on some audio clips. I did a pitch shift and added reverb to the song that was playing to make it seem like it was slowing down and getting eirie. When I would go through to play this in real time, or even after rendering the timeline, the effects clip would play about 5-7 seconds late unless I started to play right in front of the effects clip. I figured it was just the computer trying to render the audio in real time, and for some reason it was slow. NO matter, I rendered out the video to MPEG2 and then the Audio to AC3 when I noticed that the effects audio was still about 6sec slow
Since I didn't want to spend timetrying to figure out this problem, I went back into my timeline, pressed the solo button and rendered the effects clip to a separate .wav file. I then brought this back in and had to re allign the audio becasue it actually rendered it 6 sec down the timeline. Any ideas as to what is causing this? thanks
