I just shot on my DVX-100a in 24p and captured in FCP 5.1.2 on my MacBookPro and removed the pulldown the normal way. When I play clips in the viewer they are all fine but once they are dragged onto the time line they go out of synch - I.E. the actors mouth moves then 11 frames later the audio plays.
This doesnt seem like the 2 frame out of synch problem for which a util was released by apple to fix. So what the heck is going on?
Granted, I am new to FCP. I used to use Premiere. This is the first piece I am editing in FCP that I captured the footage through FCP and had audio. (I've edited pieces with audio that I had captured in Premiere but made the switch, and i've captured in FCP but didn't need the audio) so maybe I messed up my capture somehow (Perhaps with this pulldown buisness, but it seemed simple enough).
Anyone have any ideas?
