ight,

I shot some footage, edit in premier and imported my timeine into AE. When i export my 24p comp from AE as an uncompressed avi.... The audio pops during playback from any type of media player.

The actual playback from timeline its smooth without any problems. Its just the exports that get facked with the audio!!!

Any ideas why?

I hate when it does this in Final Cut. And you know Why? Well you don't so i'm going to tell you. I'm really sure it's because you are using a .MP3 file. Final cut and Premiere don't like this. You got itunes? Just export your song you are using to either an AIFF or .WAV. You can download the wonderful, free program called Switch, and it will allow ou to export to over 10 different audio files.

Use WAV files, there probably the best in your case, since you are on a PC.

Oh I re-read your question. It seems that AFTER EFFECTS is the problem, use an .aiff file or .wmv file just to be sure, but check your after effects export settings.

thats an odd glitch... Does the sound clip at all? What were your audio settings when exporting from AE?

I can't recall what audio settings I normally use, but PCM normally works well

the audio doesnt clip at all during play back form the actual timeline... it play smooth and fine. No pops or anything. Its during the encoding where things get facked up.

I cant set my audio settings cause using video for windows "Uncompressed" so the audio options are not accessible.
