I’m getting ready to do a short movie, (two DVX-100) and I was going to try a new audio setup I’ll be using a combination of mics (Lavs, shotgun, room) and running them into field mixer. Now I’d usually just record the whole thing to hard disk but I was thing about sending my mixed audio into both the DVX’s so that they would have the same audio mix. So the editor would have identical audio. Would the audio on the tapes be sufficient for the final cut of the short or should I just use the externally recorded audio and sync in post?
