Audio Set up for Conference Event

I have been asked to film at a music exhibition and will be with one presenter.

Trying to work out best audio recording set up using one camera on shoulder

Would shotgun on the camera / spider race and give talent cardoid ( SE Electronics H1) be best bet do you think?

Final format is for web

Any suggestions most welcome..

You say you "will be with one presenter" so if you're interviewing standing next to the talent, use a nice XLR wired mic, moving it back and forth during the interview - like you see on network news TV.

Otherwise, to provide a better assessment of what will work best, you'd need to give a lot more info on your environment - ambient noise, camera distance, seated/standing, head/body movement, etc.

Generally, our priority is: Boom, wired mic, lavalier mic, wireless lavalier mic - due to the proximity effect, the on-camera mic comes dead last.
