Audio process a mix from video containing music and dialogue

I recently taped a musical and I am trying to level out the audio track between the songs and the dialogue. The sound was fed into the Camera's XLR input, so I have access to the body mics. But, when the mics were set low or there was music where almost all mics were off (small house) the sound was picked up by some omni mics hanging above the stage. These mics were always on and fed to the booth, so I have ambient sound from these as well; the music and the audience.

Does anybody have experience with this type of process? I have Sonar XL and Adobe Audition CS6 as audio editing tools. I also have all of the Waves plug-ins.
