I am creating a video using two different source videos on the AVCHD format. I imported them both into Premiere and then encoded them into an umcompressed avi format. I then re-imported them and edited them. Throughout some of the project, I used the source video's audio track and then in different parts, I imported a seperate wav.
Now the first time I encoded the entire project into an AVI file, everything looked good and sounded good... except during the last 30 seconds of the video or so, the audio cut out. I went back to the project and previewed that section, and I could hear the audio just fine. I encoded again to see if it was an error the first time... but I got the same results.
Next... I encoded the entire project's audio into a single wav file and then re imported that. I muted the rest of the audio and previewed it... everything sounded fine. This time I changed one of the video settings in the avi file, but nothing with the audio. I encoded the file and played it back in VLC... and this time, the entire video has no audio. Also, there are tiny lines in the video that look worse when enlarged.
I think it has got to be some sort of problem that CS4 is having with encoding imported wav files.
Anyone know how I can fix this problem?
