Audio problems (need help)

i'm watching my sequences, and the audio keeps cutting out. then i pause it, and start play again, and it plays for about 5 seconds then cuts out. Any idea on the problem and a way to fix it? Thanks.

I am not sure what that is? I also need Audio Help. I plugged a Sennheiser boom mic into mic input one and got great sound, but it only comes in on one side??? Why? the only way I can get the left Audio to pick up is to enable the onboard mic??? I hat that because that mic makes me cry and steals my lunch money,(plus it sounds terrible). What am I doing wrong? What button did I push to make this happen. Please let me know how I can fix. Jordanryanschaub@yahoo.com
 
ok as an answer to my earlier question I have figured this out myself. Just posting to let anyone who has similar problems. First if you are using one boom mic on either a pole or directly mounted to your HVX, I found that by placing the cable in imput2 slot instead of imput one the options on the side allow for imput 2 to be both Left and Right Audio, if you use imput 1 the right must be the internal mic. I am not sure if this is the right way but it works for me. Hopefully someone that knows more than I do can verify or add more to this sometime soon.

If it's HD then you're computer isn't powerful enough to display the HD stream. You'll have to lower preview quality.

Also make sure that if you are capturing from a camcorder, that it is either turned off, or in the preferences, you have playback of audio set to only the computer. I always used to make that mistake and would freak out trying to figure why my audio only worked when I scrubbed. Hope this helps.
