Audio out of sync

I captured some 24p advanced footage ito FCP 5 using a Sony camcorder. It was shot with the DVX100A. I'm finding that any clip over 5 min long is out of sync. When I tried capturing a 10 min clip with the DVX it was fine, but I don't want to use it for capturing, so I need to get the Sony working right. What would be causing the audio to slip out of sync?

I'm having kind of the same problem. I've tried to capture an hour of video (wedding) at one time and the audio goes out of sync and when people talk it sounds computerized. I've heard that most professionals capture about 2 to 5 minute clips. I've been digitizing with the DVX 100A ( I know it's wrong) and I thought it would be ok if I just captured a whole tape in FCP 3 but now I guess I have to but a cheap mini DV cam and edit clips 5 minutes at a time.
 
There have been problems with FCP and Tiger. Make sure you have all the latest updates installed.
Most pros capture just takes at a time, usually less than 1 minute since a typical shot is 10 seconds.
