Hello,
I've been using a new Mac Pro for 2 weeks now and for some reason the audio is just slightly out of sync with the video in CS4 even when I have preview rendered and the line is green (if any effects).
I have upgraded from an older windows system to a new 2009 model Mac Pro with a single 2.66ghz quad core processor, 3gb ram, 512mb graphics card, etc. Footage that plays fine on my older system, when copied over to the Mac has this problem. Even footage I capture on the Mac has this when played back so it can't just be incompatible files either.
It doesn't make sense to me as the Mac Pro is sooo much faster at things like rendering, using 3d in After Effects, etc. The video itself (with speakers off) seems to play fine in HDV with no jittering yet the audio is slightly out of sync and someone commented "the mouths are slightly out" but when I rendered it as a quicktime and viewed it in the quicktime player it seemed fine! The problem only seems to be inside Premiere.
Hope someone out there can help!
