Audio on export but not on timeline......

Odd no?

The track is there, the audio source is set to 'desktop', the camera is disconnected, the toggle is on, and I can get the audio on any output files.

I just can't hear it within the program for some reason. I even opened up a new project to match the audio settings.

What am I not seeing?

I did upgrade a video card but I left the audio to all the OEM defaults and everything else works fine. Just can't hear it in premiere pro. It's reading it because I can see the level bars in the audio mixer.

what version of prem?, you can make sure its using the right sound card,
Edit > Preferences > Audio Hardware

That's definitely where the problem lies.


I did switch it to the old driver and it worked fine at first. Then I started getting an error message. I restarted and it seems to be working.
