audio of band from sound board

I'm going to be shooting live concert footage of a band. What's the best way to record the audio from the venue's sound board, without getting really hot, distorted muck.

Is taking a line-out and switching the dvx input to Line instead of Mic enough?

Taking a line out feed and switching the DVX to 'line' should do the trick. Monitor your audio meters carefully and use a good set of headphones.
