Audio Mixers; XLR vs. 3.5mm

I'm trying to scope out a field audio mixer that supports the XLR connectors used by the DVX 100. Everything I've found so far has XLR inputs but outputs to a 3.5mm/1/8" mini rather than to an XLR connector. And, most boom microphones use 3.5mm. What's a good field audio mixer and how is everyone handling the XLR vs. 3.5mm issue?

mini plugs are very fragile and flaky, and should be avoided. Further, I've never heard of ANY professional equipment that primarily uses a minijack. The only thing I can imagine you;ve seen is a BeachTek sorta box designed to let you use XLR mics with a consumer camera. You don't need that for the DVX...
