Audio Mix - for ENTIRE track?

Is there a way to adjust the levels of an ENTIRE track? When I use the audio mixer and adjust the track volume, I can only seem to get it to adjust the clip which the playhead is currently over.

I would like to raise the levels of every clip in certain tracks, just by sliding the volume for that track up. Is there a way to do this?

FCP stores audio levels by clip, and the faders adjust the clip under the playhead, according to the manual. You could try turning the entire track into a nested sequence and then adjusting the audio faders for the track, which would then consist of a single nested item.

Yeah... but man that's LAME. Even Adobe Premiere stores audio data both by CLIP, and by an entire master of the track... so you can adjust clip by clip, but also the entire track... there's got to be a way to just boost the whole track up in FCP also...??? Lame if not.

Select all the clips you want to effect (ex. all the clips on A1) then hit option+command+L and you can make relative and absolute audio adjustments.
