Audio missing after render

Ran into an Odd problem a few days ago (vegas 10)

After rending out to Sony AVC, the file is missing the audio track - I've checked the render settings and everything is correct - audio track is included. Using the same presets, I was having no problems last week. dragging it back on the timeline as well as checking file info yield the same conclusion - there is no audio track present. Other codecs render out correctly, including mpeg avc (it has its own problems), and I've already got a workaround setup - using a seperate program for my web exports.

No hardware changes to the machine other then some harddrives being swapped which I know would have no influence on this.

No recent software changes or updates either.

I'll end up re-installing if I cant solve the issue within the next couple days

ye so this still isn't working even after re-install... exporting from media encoder to h.264 results in a distorted audio track (track sounds like its slowed down without re-sampling) . what's the deal?

seems the h.264 exports accross the board are all messed up. video comes out fine, but audio is missing or distorted depending on the program I used to export...

update,

threw out my build, re-installed windows, vegas 10c, and everything works... good thing i got an SSD as it all took about 25 minutes.
