Audio Interleave in h.264 - Smart guys please help

We just encoded 100 hours of video using adobe media encoder. The video is for streaming playback on a set top box. The encoding is done, but we have found that the larger files (~400MB) won't play all the way through because of audio buffer underrun on the device. We think it is because Adobe encodes with interleave set to 0 (no interleaeve) and we need a 1 sec interleave. So, here are the questions -

1. Does media encoder in PP CS3 allow you to change the Interleave settings (I can't see anywhere) or does it just leave it off by default?
2. Do any other versions of media encoder allow control of the interleave?
3. Is there any way to adjust the interleave using another program?

Just for clarity's sake: Encoidng was h264 AAC at 720X405 High Profile Level 4.0 Square Pixels 29.97fps 750kbs VBR - audio 192kbs 48khz.

This sounds like a question the geniuses at the doom9 forums can answer. I would subscribe now, since they have a 24 hour waiting period before you can post. Be very accurate about what you are describing because it is not a newb forum, and you can be flamed if you make a simple post of "its broke"

Doom9 was no help. However, I did finally figure it out. Adobe Media Encoder CS3 does not have a setting for audio interleave. So, it encodes with 0 interleave. If you are trying to stream a video via HTML5 or do a device with a limited audio cache, you will need to add interleave to the file. On the MP4 h264 files I have is used MP4Box on windows. In the command line I used the following:

MP4Box -hint myfile.mp4

This will add a 1/2 second interleave to the file. If you want to change it to something else, you can use this:

MP4Box -inter 1000 myfile.mp4

That will add a 1 second interleave to the file.
