I wonder if anyone can help.
I've recently imported some footage into FCP Studio2, using a JVC Capture station, which was filmed on a SONY PD170. Once it was captured, a message came up saying that there was a problem with the audio capture and that it may not be in sync. When i then play the captured footage, the audio is 2 frames behind the image.
It stays the same all the way through the footage, so I don't think it's the audio sample rate. It also happens on footage shot on different cameras, imported on different computers and from different capture stations (I'm at uni, so I'm using various different pieces of hardware that are all the same spec)
Anybody got any ideas what's going on? Other students have had the same problems, and our tech guys can't work it out.
