Good Morning Everyone! I am a newbie here and need some advice please. We just did a movie on Premiere Pro and downloading the narrating to a dvd...we keep getting a crackling on the dvd whenever the narrator speaks...we don't hear it when we try the movie on the timeline only after the dvd is made...any suggestions would be very much appreciated. Thanks

Yes, this is definitely a case where the audio level is too high. You don't hear it in the NLE, but it causes crackling when converted to MPEG. Look at the audio levels on your NLE and make sure that it never hits 0dB. Probably safer to clip it at -3dB or so.
