Audio format question. Music video not in sync...

AHHHH!!! I thought it was fixed, but it's not.

Problem: Video is falling out of sync with the audio track from a CD.

Shot video with audio from a boombox style CD player on location.

Imported the song from itunes at 16bit, 48KHz aif file.

Sync up the beginning of the song with video track, but by the end, the video falls out of sync.

What am I doing wrong here?

Why 44? Should be 48 KHZ.

How long is the video and how out of sync is it?

If it's a short video, the sync shouldn't be too bad.

Was this before or after you put it in your sequence? just checking, because if you dropped your music onto the sequence first, it would have asked you to format the timeline, and if you said yes it would have changed the sequence rate to 44.1.

Double check your Aud Rates in the browser column by the same name.
