Audio for shooting an individual standing/moving in front of greenscreen

So this will be indoors, and the subject will be moving (not much), and this will all be in front of green screen footage. What I'm wondering is if I should purchase a wireless or wired lav mic, *or* go the route of a boom stand/mic?

I have a budget of around $600. I also am planning on (i think) using a HV20, so will I need some type of XLR adapter?

Thanks a lot.

I think a good hypercardioid mic on a boom stand will work well if you are shooting medium to close shots and can get the mic within several feet of the speakers mouth.

Wireless would work well if the quality of the equipment is high enough and puts out a clean signal. The downside of wireless can be rubbing noises from clothing .. etc whereas the downside of a boom stand is making sure the placement stays close and somewhat consistant.

$600 would buy you a decent hypercardioid like an AKG blue line with a CK93 and a good boom stand.

as long as you dont cut the head line you can place the mic inside the shot about half feet over the head
go with good hyper

dont know the camera , but if it has line ins , sd or psc have 1 channel preamps

or you can just buy something like zoom recorder and run separate recording
probably would be better then the camera

I agree - for medium and close shots using a hyper cardoid (like OKtava) on a boom / mic stand over talent sounds good going straight into dvx.

actually if you coonect the capsul to dc source it can work with out phantom power suply :-)

as i sudjested , buy small h-4 recorder , its output can go to your camera for scratch track and later sync the rushes on nle .
does HV-20 have line /mic input or just external mic only ?

Actually now it looks like I'm going to be getting the JVC GZ-HD7 instead of the HV20.
