Audio for Comedy Stand Up Video

I am a noob when it comes to audio. I am looking into trying a 3-4 camera setup recording a few comedian friends of mine to make videos for them online. When it comes to capturing the audio, how do I go about recording the audio directly from the mic they are using, or do I set up my own mic in a specific spot?

I would appreciate any help with this.

Thanks!

"You can take a feed from the front of house mixer into your audio recorder"
Yes, or a mic mult (splitter) can be safer if the house 'engineer' doesn't know what they're doing.
Separate room mics to pick up the audience is the norm as well. Also common in post, a laugh track can added to augment the audience and/or if they tank. "tough room"

The times I've done it I've gotten a feed from the mixer and run another audio recorder using it's internal mics(usually the zoom h2 or something similar) in the middle of the room where I'm filming.

It's nice to have both.
