Audio filters in Vegas

I have some footage that I shot last weekend in which the person holding the boom mic shifted their hands every once in awhile, thus creating a bump in the sound. I read somewhere about switching on a low frequency eliminating switch on the mic. For what I have already shot, is there anything in Vegas that I could apply to the audio track to eliminate the bump like the switch on the mic would? I read something a sound engineer wrote that said the human voice doesn't fall into the range that is eliminated, so the dialogue will still be there with this switch on. Anyone know anything about this?
Thanks
Nathan

Re: Audio filters in Vegas

On each audio track in Vegas, you have an EQ. use the Low Frequency Rolloff to do this. If it's dialog that was recorded, I'd be setting this around 100Hz and using a 24dB per octave slope from there.

I'm playing with the Track EQ too -- I couldn't turn off a heating unit when I recorded last. What EQ settings could I use to lessen the noise coming out of the vent?
