Hi. Is there any effective way to do background noise removal in FCP? I've tried hum remover but I can't get anything to come out with that. Is there any way to like take a sample of audio and remove that waveform from another sample in FCP? Or would I need to get another program? ( i know soundtrack pro can do it, but i don't have that). Thanks.

Soundtrack pro isn't going to help much either... what you want is a program called SoundSoap.

That's your BEST bet. FCP can eq it, but not much else.
