I need some serious help with adding plug-ins or whatever necessesary to give some audio editting possibilities. What should I do?

You should have a good assortment of plug-ins that were installed with Vegas. What specifically are you trying to do?

I don't know how to install plugins :(

I want to make a telephone-effect on a voiceover :>

You should have a few EQ plugs that got installed with Vegas. All you need to do is add one to your audio track, or to the clip on which you want the "telephone" effect. If you're not sure how to do that, it's the 3rd button to the right of the track name. That opens your effects. Once you have the EQ added, select it and set it to a narrow band pass at around 1k (Cut off most of the low and high frequencies). You should be able to preview this while you play with the effect. You should be able to get what you're looking for with that.

Thank you very much. But for further productions, can you link me or tell me about how to install plugins?

Run the installer for the audio plug-in.

There is a list of some free audio plug-ins on the VASST site:

And also try Kjaerhus

2- To add a telephone effect:
Use Track EQ.
Low shelf with a very high rolloff, at around 300hz. Lower the volume here (use negative gain).
High shelf with a very high rolloff, at around 3000hz. Lower the volume here.

The Vegas Track EQ doesn't quite go as sharp as you may want. You may need to sharpen it with a bandpass filter, with the default bandwidth. Just look at the graph visually to see how steep the slope gets- you want the slope to be steep.

2b- On top of that, apply some compression. Use the Track compressor.

Threshold -18 (play around with this).
Amount ~ 6.0 (also play with this, although it's not as important)
Maybe make the attack and release faster (lower ms).
You can check smooth saturation if you want.
