Audio Drops!!

I just digitize via my camera/firewire into FCP and my source material all has very bad audio drops...i put in a fresh blank tape, recorded an audio test and also digitizeed it and it too, has audio drops. Is it my camera? I keep getting this warning...

"The audio sample rate of one or more of your captured media files does not match the sample rate on yoru source tape. This may cause the video and audio of their media files to be out of sync. Make sure the audio sample rate of your capture preset matches the sample rate of your tape."

All my audio presets are in default...can someone help me...thank you.

Are you capturing with an Easy Setup? Sounds like your audio capture settings are incorrect. That or your camera's tape heads need to be cleaned.

It can't be the camera's tape heads 'cause they just got replaced and the easy setup is the norm for capturing ntsc footage...never had this problem before
