Audio drops

We are having consistent audio drops on our footage brought into our Pany. It sounds like someone is turning the volume up and down on the audio. We have used booms and the on board camera mic separately as a check. I fear that there is a camera issue. Does anyone have any ideas on what may be the problem? Has this happened to anyone else?

Thanks

Is your audio control set to manual or auto. If it's set to auto, then this is what happens. If it's set to manual, and this is still happening, then there is a problem with the camera, and you need to take the camera back to where you bought it.

There's no auto setting on the DVX, no auto level control (the ALC means automatic limiter control). So that can't be what's happening...

OK. I didn't know. I'm not the camera expert. I know that a lot of mini dv cams have that sort of setting, so I assumed the dvx did.

Anyway, since it seems that the camera does not have this option, then it might be your camera.
