this may have nothing to do with the camera at all but i figured i would ask.
basically lately in Premiere pro 1.5 whenever i turn up the gain on my audio when i export the video/audio to a Wmv file for burning to dvd in another program the sound has somehow been ampliefied and cracks alot during high rises. now it doesn;t do this when i play the footage back in PP it only does this once i export the audio/video?????

now the same problem has occured in some audio that hasn;t been raised at all i simply cant understand why it cracks and pops. does this on every tv and every computer so not a speaker problem. i have also changed every setting in the audio exportation and it still does it with only remedy being to not raise the audio but my audio needs to be a bit louder. any help or suggestion on possible settings would be helpfull as this slightly caused a problem with a client video and had to do very very very last minute repairs thankyou

You might have some transients that are clipping. Have you tried lightly compressing the entire mix? You may need to.

when i go to the compressor option when i export the sequence their is no option for compression under "compressor" it says uncompressed???? this is when my export option is "microsoft Dv AVI" now when i change that to Avi it does change but i dont know much about audio so sorry

I don't think Noct meant "compress" as in file size, but rather lowering your audio.
Try this:
Open the Audio mixer from the Window menu, and play your project. If the levels in the mixer ever peak (go all the up and turn red), then your project is too loud. Simply drag the master slider on the right of the mixer down a bit until your levels never go above -3db or so. I've found it's best to have your audio- dialogue, music, narration, etc- between -6 and -12db. If you mix your project so that everything worth hearing is around there, you should be fine.
