Audio control in Premiere Pro

Is it just me or is the Audio mixer in Premiere Pro kinda pathetic?

I'm used to the true mixer interface with all of the sliders from regular Premiere.

Is the full-blown mixer a buried feature? I was in a hurry so I had to R-click and adjust the gain of each clip to level it all out.

view -> audio monitor .. or audio mixer or whatever its called -


sliders and effects controls and all - and you can even record mixer automation in realtime when playing the timeline.

There is a whole section on audio in the manual so it is strange you are unaware of the Mixer Window.

Yeah, I know... RTFM. I am pretty much going by what I know from regular Premiere. I didn't have my manual nearby, so I thought I'd post a quickie.
