Audio concern during outdoor Wedding

Alert! Man! I believe this bride is going to lose it! This Wedding I videotape was an outdoor wedding and when things go wrong according to Murphy's Law, man they will.
All of a sudden when the judge was presiding and started with his spill the airplanes where coming in and this idiot would not stop talking and continue through the ceremony with the vows, prayers, and all of it.

You can bearly make any of it out. Of course I could hear the loud mouth judge, but you know a bride and groom during this initmate moment are more focus on talking to each other than being concerned about airplane noise. But once this is edited it will be all she is concerned about.

My question is what software either within vegas 5 and I think I used them, filters and all and got some results, or with another system out there can anyone recommend I use. Need help fast! I got to deliver this mess to a bride. :undecided  :embarasse

I don't know about Vegas having all the tools, but Sound Forge should be able to help some, though I don't know about completely removing the airplane noise. How 'bout making her a killer edited video set to a song w/no voice over? Then throw the airplane mess in with the raw footage in the scene/chapter selection.

She'd at least love how you high light it all.

Personally, i wouldn't worry about it. You can try some noise reduction software, but you probably won't be able to get a lot back. If you can understand what he is saying, why not just use subtitles? You can't always control what is going to happen while filming a one time event.
I shot a wedding the other day, and during the reception people were going all over the large room giving there own toasts, not even waiting for the microphone from the DJ. There were quite a few toasts that I didn't catch the beginning becausae I was running all over the room. The bride and groom didn't even care, they understood that it was physically impossible, and they loved the video.
Don't worry yourself so much.
