Audio Clicking at Start and Stop

After taking MP3 files and converting them to AiF and importing them into Final Cut, every time you start and stop the sequence there is a light clicking noise that occurs. The problem seems to extend further cause it also occurs when the playhead runs into a new audio track file. It doesn't seem to happen with any other audio just the ones converted from MP3. Any suggestions?
 
Try either adding a very short fade in and fade out at the beginning and end of your audio files or move the in and out points to zero crossings. See the Soundtrack Pro manual for more information.
