If it's a low humming, you might be able to use some parametric equalizer filters to supress the frequencies of the humming without affecting the dialogue too much. It could take you a while to fix it, though. If you're willing to spend a bit of money, I highly recommend the Sony Noise Reduction plugin.

As long as you have some soundtrack with just the hum, the NR plugin can do a pretty good job of attenuating it. And it takes all of about 30 seconds to use. You can also download a trial version to see if it works for you (but the trial can't save processed files).
