I'm just curious if anyone can help me out with this. A few months ago I was importing footage from my cam with no audio. I was importing via standard DV 48khz, obviously customized to turn off the audio. When I would add this footage to the viewer FCP would crash. Well, at the time I reinstalled everything from OS to programs and it still didn't work right. A few weeks later I was at the Apple store and one of the guys told me that there was a bug that cause this when importing DV without audio, but he did not know where to download it.
Well, after searching extensively on Apple's website, I can't find it. Has anyone heard of this, or know of any solution to my problem? Any help would be great! I'm going to shoot a music video at the end of the month and I'd rather not import audio if I don't have to. Waste of space.
