6/7-6/13: jvc grd72us dv camera $349.99(good price for a cheap deck)            
mintek 8" port. dvd player w/ phones and case $249.99(any 16:9 shooters?)

6/14-6/20: panasonic pv-gs70 3ccd dv camera $549.99(what? for 3ccd?!)

8/9-8/15: philips 30" 16:9 widescreen hdtv $599.99(what a deal for hdtv!)

8/23-8/29: bear creek chunky potato soup  buy 1 get 1 free!(mmm...mmm...good!) ;D

video content creator by day, costco shopping vehicle management by night. :P my brother in law works at costco and gave me a heads up on upcoming sales. don't know if all items will be at all locations. try online as well. forgot to mention that there is also a samsung sc-d103 dv camera(w/ s-video) for only $299.99 for those who are looking for a cheap deck alternative.

costco tip: the best return policy in the world! say you purchase a dv camera and some 3 years later it stops working or you get a dead pixel on the lens...just return it back to costco and they will give you a full refund as long as you have the receipt. 8)

any good prices on Plasma's? I go to BJ's which is just like Costco's and they have a nice 42 inch HDTV Plasma for just under $3,000.

You gotta love that return policy. I know people who keep "upgrading" their electronics every year or so. Pay once, never pay again. In fact, you may get money back.

And they pay their employees handsomely...over $20 an hour for swiping UPC codes across the checkout scanner...

Why isn't the whole world one big Costco? Why dammit? Why? ;)
