Attaching Tripod To Panda Backpack

When I bought the backpack, I was told that a tripod could be attached to the side of it. Has anyone been able to do it?
I've been looking around for extra buckles or something but I'm clueless. Any suggestions?

Ok, I guess either folks don't have the Kata Panda or they're just as clueless as I am. Check it out, I happened to wander on rei.com and they have the plastic strap buckles (like on hiking bags) I'm gonna try using those on the Panda and see what happens. Wish me luck! 8)
