Hi

I want to get a shot above a door...so the camera is looking down on the action. I was thinking of using my chin-up bar (i'll dust it off first!!!!) which is telescopic and can fit between the two walls in the corridor, I just need to find a way of attaching my camera to it??? Any ideas???

Cheers

Thinking of the cheapest possible way to do this...

(I think the screw size for a camera base is 3/8", but check that before trying out.)
Find a small piece of wood (1" x 1" probably the best), drill a 3/8" hole in it. Put a bolt and nut on it. Spin the camera onto the end of it. C-clamp to the post and it should point straight down. You may need to put the wood off center where it's clamped to the post and put some quaters to balence the weight out.

better yet (and cheaper) you could get a small 35mm still camera tripod, if you have one lying around, mount the camera on it, tilt the head all the way, and then c-clamp or pipe-clamp one of the legs to the bar :D
