Attaching the AT897

I bought the AT897 to use with my DVX100B. I was wondering how you all are attching it to the DVX? It does not seem to fit in the Panasonic mount that came with the camera and it looks a little funny setting on top of the camera in the shock mount that came with the AT897. Is there a different shoe mount that you are using or a different mount that will attach where the Panasonic mount goes?

It should fit in the mic mount.... It will be loose a little bit, that's normal, you need to wrap some gaffers tape around the mic to make it thicker and it won't wobble.

It is not very tight, I can pull it right out. I could put some gaffer tape around the mic.
