Attaching HVX to Tripod

Sorry for having to ask such a question here.

I am a student and am borrowing the HVX and am unable to attach it to either a Miller or Bogen tripod. The bottom of the HVX does not match the connecting piece on the heads of these tripods. What is the attachment called that goes in between to make this connect? If I have to purchase one, can anyone recommend one?

Thank you.

I have never seen a tripod that doesn't come with its own camera mounting place (although there may be some). Don't know if these are your personal equipment or borrowed from someone else . . . either way, get/find the plate (may be on the bottom of the last camera used with the tripod) and screw it on to the HVX with the standard (universal), supplied bolt and you should be good to go.

Best.

it has two screws on the bogen. One is huge that doesint fit and another fits good. make sure you get that screw for your plate.

The Bogen/Manfrotto heads come with both screws. There are extra threaded holes on the underside of the head that can be used to store the screw that is not being used, so if the screw on the QR plate doesn't fit, look for the other screw on the underside of the head.
