attaching a VCT 14 wedge to a miller compass 15 tripod?

Hi,

Does anyone know if it is possible to screw a quick release tripod plate (Miller Compass15) onto the bottom of a VCT 14 Wedge plate (which will then attach to a camera rig)?

I know it may be an obvious question for some people but i have a producer renting a Miller Compass 15 and i wont get to see it until the shoot day morning.
