I'm getting ready to order an AT825 for ambience recording and wondering if there are any good option for wind protection short of a full zepplin. Is there a BBG that will fit?

The Rycote S-series will fit - it's about half the price of a full windshield kit.
You need the S-300 (which is the smallest and cheapest one).
This is just about as good as the full kit in protection terms (and cheaper than the equivalent Softie that you can't use on the AT825 due to the bulbous head).
A medium mini Windjammer will also fit (cheaper, but not as effective).
