A proud owner of a DVX100AE, received just yesterday my new AT-4073a shotgun.
(Thanks god, B&H added a nice Azden shotgun mount as a bonus, since the one on the camera is really unstable...).
First thing I noticed, it's a really 'hot' gun, isn't it? Although didn't have the chance to test them with a really good pair of headphones yet...
At my first dialogue tests, running them in -50dB , using it on-camera, never needed to ride the levels more than the half. And that's not only my ears, the level meters confirm it as well.
Is it just me?
