Assistant Directors: Sample Call Sheet

Hey guys,

I was working on a new call sheet, felt like sharing.

All that I ask is that you give me credit, and dont claim it as your own (IE: Dont tell a Producer that you made it.. cause the production gods will smote you).

You can download a PDF or Rar file with both PDF and Excel template here: TylerLeisher.com

You can use Microsoft Office or Google Documents to edit. I'm working on getting a PDF document where you just have to hit tab and itll take you to the next area. But until then you get the old fashioned way.

If you have questions, comments, suggestions let me know @ tleisher [-at-] gmail (.dot.) com.

This will help the young filmmakers out. Thanks for sharing. Also, I've worked on many sets and producers don't care how the AD made their call sheet. He/she only cares that you do your job, cause that's why they hired you. There is a lot of samples on net for people to download. Some individuals get it from their AD (Some are cool about it) if they ask for the template.

Cheers,

Murray

I've been getting a lot of 404 hits from this forum because of the call sheets. I moved them to a new folder on my site to better organize things, didn't realize it was bringing in so many hits.

I've updated the link to reflect the new place to download them.

That's invaluable, Tyler. I went through about 4 others before I found this one and it is really well done. Thanks!

Hmmm, interesting. Usually I see crew positions and individual call times on the back of the call sheet. Have you also thought about losing the grid for the scenes and page numbers? The less of the grid you've got the easier it is to read usually....Only other thing I see that you might want to add is an advance schedule.

Definitely not a bad call sheet, I don't think you can really make a bad one as everyones got their own way of doing things. Just some comments from looking at the call sheets I usually get.
