I am using 1920 x 800 = 2.4 on a short film I am trying to finish up some time soon.

The reasoning behind it was to push it a bit more in hopes to stand out a bit yet remain close to the popular 2.39. Per Wiki 2.39 is "sometimes rounded up to 2.4"

I was wondering if anyone had any opinions and this gives me a reason to chat with you ignorant bastards that roam the Cafe ala DVX.

I usually go with something that is right around 2.35:1

It's not necessarily exact, but it's close enough for me.
