hi gang,

this is driving me insane.

i used to go into settings in the sequence and i chose custom frame size and i changed the the height from 480 to 375 with the width staying a constant 720 and i would export to a quicktime movie.

this eliminated the black bars and the quicktime movie would be shown in the 16x9 aspect ratio during playback.

now when i do this the bars are elimintated but the footage is stretched to fit the 720 x 480 frame size.

can someone tell me what i changed to make it do this.

i have tried almost everything and it's driving me mad.

I use Compressor to crop to 16:9. Just use the widescreen settings.

hi gang,

the settings in my timeline did not match my export settings in quicktime.

you right click on the your sequence and go to settings to make your changes then when you export to quickitime you pick the same settings or scroll all the way down to custom to made custom changes in your sequence.
