Aspect HD and CS5?

I have a copy of Aspect Hd (version 5.2.3.104) and whenever I try to install it on CS5 I have issues. Has anyone tried it out successfully?
 
I think you'll need to upgrade to NeoHD v5. I don't know that Cineform even supports Aspect anymore. The upgrade from Aspect is $350 USD
 
When I try to install it I get an error saying "Could not locate Adobe Premiere Pro plugin registry key.". It doesn't sound like too difficult of an issue to resolved by changing the registry settings...I can't do it thought.
 
You could probably fool the installer by manually creating the key but i'm hesitant as to weather the program would actually work.
 
The thing is, for the amount of video editing I do these days I'm not really going to pay 350us$ to upgrade, but I DID buy aspect HD and I'd like to still be able to use it whenever I want.
 
it's worth a try then i suppose, I'll have a hunt in my registry later and see if I can find the key it needs.

I can't imagine Aspect HD working for CS5 since CS5 is 64-bit now. I understand the issue of upgrading due to cost but you may have to stick with using CS4 in order for Aspect HD to work properly.

Cineform also won't provide any support for a plugin that is technically not compatible with CS5.

Cineform has discontinued Aspect HD as well as Prospect HD and will not make it available for CS5. The only Cineform products that will work for CS5 is NeoHD and Neo4k which are not available yet.

Btw, even if you can do it it wouldn't do you much good because AspectHD was never optimized to work in real time for CS5, so you would get zero performance boost.
